The panels were installed on 26/10/2010, by 27/01/2012 they have generated 3619 units of electricity that works out at an average of approx 7.9 units per day. Total income to date is £ 1,608.89 Savings, based on 50% of generated power used, to date is £ 244.28

I’ve been out on the streets of South Lanarkshire knocking doors and handing out leaflets to support Karen Gillon’s campaign for re-election to the Scottish Parliament. Fingers crossed she get’s back in.

Solar panels don’t like being covered in snow, days of nil units produced!
Finally managed to sell the shop in Lesmahagow today, just in time before the capital gains tax changes take place.

Easyjet came up trumps as expected, checked in for the flight after a leisurely drive to Alicante, dropped dad’s car at “Claus Parking” and got transferred to the terminal. Straight through passport control, no need to remove belt and shoes for a change!
After something to eat our flight was called, bang on time, we were last to board the plane and got emergency exit seating as no-one else seemed to want them.
Surprisingly quiet flight when the news is full of all these stories about people stuck around the world, 156 seats booked on the flight but only 80 people actually showed up!
The landing was excellent, hardly even knew we were on the ground.
